About Milta

An open Assyrian–English dictionary for the modern diaspora

Milta is an Assyrian-English and English-Assyrian dictionary built for quick daily lookup. It handles common diaspora spellings, fuzzy transliteration matching, and full-text English definition search.

Close spellings still match words that are already in the dictionary. Each result is a dictionary entry, with a label for how it matched. The goal is to make Assyrian language accessible to everyone—whether you grew up speaking it or are just starting to learn.
